The exhibition is not intended only as a place to be visited by the public, but also a tool to support and/or promote mathematics within education and popularisation.

Various initiatives have been started already:
  • workshops for trainee teachers (both primary and secondary level);
  • proposals within the SeT project for new paths through the elementary curriculum;
  • collaborations with secondary level maths/art teachers;
  • project with Bergamo Botanical Gardens for activities to recognise symmetry in botany;
  • management of a web-based discussion forum on symmetry (part of "WebScuola").
